The Chesneys Salisbury 5WS MK3 brings a quiet confidence to any room, a classic, robust silhouette updated with a 33% larger glass viewing area for a more generous flame picture, soft-close door and concealed hinges for an understated, premium feel.

Delivering a nominal 4.9kW output (3.5–7kW range) at 86.4% net efficiency, this stove is DEFRA exempt for smoke control areas and comfortably exceeds Ecodesign 2022 requirements, with smoke emissions of just 0.7g/h.

Available in Black as standard, with optional Silver, Atlantic Blue, Sage Green, Parchment or Autumn Leaf finishes at an additional cost.

Fuel & Operating Advice

Wood burning stoves should only be run on dry, seasoned or kiln-dried wood with a moisture content below 20%. Wet wood produces significantly more smoke, more creosote, and less heat, and will void most manufacturer warranties.

We will walk you through the first lighting at commissioning and leave you with a clear handover document covering fuel, operation, and annual sweep requirements.

Warranty & Aftercare

This stove carries the manufacturer's standard warranty. Consumable parts, glass rope seal, fire grate, door rope, are not covered by warranty but are inexpensive and straightforward to replace.

We recommend an annual chimney sweep and stove inspection. We can arrange this as part of a service plan, or advise on a local HETAS-registered sweep if you prefer to arrange it independently.
